Bantry YMCA is located in the centre of the town. A deceptively small entrance opens to a spacious working area where a range of services are available. The STEP training room is bright and well-equipped. The Youth Information Service, operating in the adjoining room on Tuesdays and Thursdays, is close at hand for trainees to avail of. The STEP course runs in Bantry for 19 weeks, starting each year in August.

“Before I started the STEP course I had been in Bantry YMCA a few times but I never realized how much the YMCA really does. I had a brilliant time at the YMCA and I learnt a lot” (Bantry YMCA STEP past trainee)
