Aims of the STEP programme

    1. To respond creatively to support the progression of personal, learning and employment needs of participants.
    2. To help participants recognise, understand and be able to respond to their needs of body, mind and spirit.
    3. To resource the development and maintenance of constructive relationships within personal, social and working lives.
    4. To enable participants to participate creatively in identifying owning and realising their learning goals.
    5. To encourage participants to engage with the activities, programmes and management of the local YMCA.
